The kit gives you the wooden body, hardware, leather anchor loop, and lead keel foundation, then leaves the paint table to you.

The shape reaches back to Delta Marsh on Lake Manitoba, where James Ford Bell's camp and early waterfowl research helped shape what became Delta Waterfowl. Canvasbacks were central to that water, and the decoys tied to it carried Heron Lake influence through the hands of Duncan Ducharme and other marsh carvers.

In collaboration with Delta Waterfowl, this historic decoy design is being brought back to life for the modern hunter and the man who wants to put his own hand to the form. A portion of proceeds goes to support the mission of The Duck Hunters' Organization™.
