I have a surplus of old mallard decoys and wanted to change up some species in my spread. These, here might be the longest-billed Wigeons you’ll ever see. LOL. Can’t wait to try them out tomorrow morning.

Store owner replied: Those might be the longest-billed wigeons on the water, Steve, but they'll do the job. Hope they pulled their weight on the morning hunt.
Widgeon and Pintail repainted., and looking good. Mallard spread is next . Paint was nice to work with, feels durable, time will finish that story. Im lookingvforward to hunting over freshly painted decoys this year. Thank you for fast, thorough service. Duncan

Store owner replied: Wigeon and pintail done, mallards next, that's a solid plan, Duncan. Hope the freshly painted spread pulls plenty of birds this season.
I painted these old vintage Herters decoys a year ago using Dixie Decoys paint kits. My son and I are going to make a hunting and fishing trip to Manitoba so I touched these up to get them ready to go. The Dixie Decoy colors are very true to natural colors and help make these old blocks come to life.

Burlapped my old Herters bluegills and mallards. Painted them and they came out great even though I am not a artsy crafty guy.

I recently bought 150 used duck decoys. They are quality decoys but not as colorful as they once were (see the photo of 3+ decoys, that is the before photo). I found Decoy Apparel online and purchased thirteen 8-oz cans in various colors to touch them up and make them more visible, vibrant and consistent. The second photo (with a drake and hen mallard) are examples of how the project is going. The drake is the same one that was the middle drake in the prior photo. The colors are vibrant, easy to work with, and look great. Now my mixed spread of mallards and pintails will be visible and look consistent.

All arrived in good order. I ordered an unpainted decoy kit, decoy heads, and paint it for a single decoy. The deck is nice. Good detail. And well sanded. Ready for painting. There’s plenty of paint for the decoy and the touch it up or fix others. The heads look indestructible. Solid.

My little guy putting in that work painting his first decoy. Quality paints. My only recommendation would be to either put a dot of paint on the lid or cup or possibly label the color for the user. Each individual paint does have a number identifier from the supplier though.

Look what a little paint from Dixie Decoys will do to some old 1950’s style blocks? Hands down best decoy paint on the east coast and mainstream market today!

Fast shipping and great paint color offerings for the decoys I wanted to paint. I’m no artist but that’s not the paints fault.

Perfect for mojo touch up or transform into a different bird all together!

Great paint for decoys. Flat color and sticks very well. Great colors available in individual cans, 4 oz and 8 oz cans as needed. To me this is better than the kits they sell. Refer to their decoy chart for colors by duck species.

Had some old carry-lite decoys and ordered a large mallard kit, and it worked out perfect, still have plenty of paint after 2 dozen!!!!!!

THE BEST paint out there! A little bit goes a long way and it dries to absolute, matte perfection! Cork, styrofoam, or plastic, this stuff gets the job done right.

Inherited some old decoys from a friend and this paint really brought them back to life! Definitely recommend. I've attached a before and after photo to show the transformation.

I just finished my old school ruddy using light brown and white Parker Paints. I think the paints work great for working and carving old school decoys. My thanks goes to Keith Hendrickson for his articles in Wildfowl Carving magazine and for getting me to use Parker Paints.

Just finished repainting a few spoon bill decoys today. One decoy in that group is brand new right out the box. The remainder I repainted no it’s not a factory paint job but it’s close enough for me.

Re-painted my redhead decoys for next season. The paint colors provided by Dixie are as true as real life waterfowl.

Paints arrived well packed and quickly. Tested each color. Nice flat oils. The only color I’m not thrilled about is the purple speculum color. I use these on more antique style wood decoys, and Prussian blue is the preferred color I’m my case. I know this is used in other Parker Kits. All good though.
